We believe the law is more than just a profession—it’s the rulebook that governs our society. The high cost, time, and barriers to law school have kept the legal system out of reach for many, especially in marginalized communities.
This has rigged the game, leaving too many disempowered, unable to defend their rights, and unable to access justice. We are here to change that.
All of our internal programs provide participants with free access to the same courses taught to first year law students across America:
Civil Procedure Constitutional law
Contracts Criminal law
Property Torts
Legal Research + Writing
Along with these courses, DLG provides opportunities for participants to build and create projects that spread awareness and encourage intergenerational learning, including public awareness campaigns, digital and social media advocacy, student-led workshops, and much more. Throughout the course of each program, participants receive exposure to various areas of the legal profession through mentorship, field trips, and professional development seminars.
